We then spent a couple of days in the Julian Alps - mostly centred around pretty Lake Bled. Apologies for all the pictures of the castle and churches - we cut out A LOT! It's just such a pretty area. Slovenia in general was definitely our favourite place on the trip, and we'd love to go back to visit Ljubljana and spend some time walking or skiing in the hills.
